Life in Community
At UCC, community means friendship, fun, and belonging. Our Community Access supports aren’t just about leaving home—they’re about connecting, exploring, and creating memories with people who care.
What is Community Access?
Community Access is an NDIS-funded support that helps participants join in life’s moments—whether that’s a beach trip, a club outing, or a fun local event. UCC puts the “community” back in support, keeping things friendly, safe, and tailored to everyone’s interests and abilities.
Our Activities & Support
We bring a variety of safe, exciting activities to every participant—led by qualified staff and including transport:
- Regular Options
Tenpin bowling, shows & lunches, shopping trips, movies (including drive-ins), museums, galleries, libraries, parks, beach visit, and wheelchair-friendly walking tracks.
- Seasonal Adventures
Dolphin and whale watching, sporting events (football, soccer, etc.), ANZAC marches, botanical garden visits (spring & autumn), Christmas parties, sail-ability sessions, Ash Island wheelchair track and picnics.
We provide our own fully registered, insured vehicles, often with two trained staff for safe loading and unloading using hoists—offering comfort and peace of mind the whole way.

Community Access is typically funded under Core (Social & Community Participation) or Capacity Building categories in your NDIS plan. We align with the current NDIS Pricing Arrangements, ensuring clarity and consistency in how supports are delivered and billed.
